Many people search for “Ramtin Abdo” and find pages full of guesses, copied text, and mistakes. Some pages say he is a singer. Others say he founded a famous company. Many say he is still married to a TV star.
This article separates what is confirmed from what is only rumor. Each section tells you how reliable the information is.
Who Is Ramtin Abdo?
Ramtin Abdo is a German-Iranian businessman. His full name is reported as Ramtin Abdolmajid. He is best known as the former husband of sports broadcaster Kate Abdo, who is now known as Kate Scott.
He is not a celebrity in his own right. People search for him mostly because of that marriage. He has not given public interviews or built a social media following, so very little first-hand information exists.

Background and Heritage
He is described as German with Iranian family roots. This international background is often said to explain why he speaks several languages. Details about his parents, childhood, and schooling are thin.
Do not trust the education claims you may see. One report says he studied at a German university in Mannheim. Another says he attended Seattle University in the early 2000s. These two claims cannot both be confirmed, so this article does not treat either as fact.
His Career in Business
Most reports say Ramtin Abdo works in real estate and investment in Germany.
Some websites name specific companies, such as INA Ventures GmbH and a property platform called SMAP. These names appear mainly on low-quality blog sites, and I could not confirm them from an official record. Treat them as reported, not proven.
One official-style business record does exist. A German company register lists a Ramtin Abdolmajid as managing director of a Berlin company registered in January 2023. It shows him as no longer in that role by April 2023. The name and city match, but a single short record cannot show his full career.
Marriage to Kate Abdo
This is the best-documented part of his public life. Kate is an English sports broadcaster who works mainly for CBS Sports. She has hosted its UEFA Champions League coverage since August 2020.
The couple married in 2010, and the marriage ended in 2016. Neither of them has given a public statement explaining the split.
Why Did They Divorce?
No one outside the couple knows. Some sites say long-distance living and busy careers caused it. That is a guess, not a fact. Any website that states a clear reason is making it up.
Kate Abdo Today
Kate later married American former boxer Malik Scott in September 2024. This is why she is often called Kate Scott now. So Ramtin Abdo is her former husband, not her current one.
Common Myths About Ramtin Abdo
Myth 1: He is the founder of Zalando.
One page makes this claim. It has no reliable support and conflicts with every other report. Treat it as false.
Myth 2: He is a singer or actor.
Several pages praise a “rising music star” named Ramtin Abdolmajid, Ramtin Abdou, or similar. These pages look auto-generated, and they do not match the businessman described elsewhere. Do not mix these people up.
Myth 3: He is still married to Kate Abdo.
Older articles say so. The marriage ended in 2016, and she has since remarried.
Myth 4: He has a confirmed multimillion-dollar fortune.
No public disclosure confirms a precise figure. Some websites give numbers, but those are estimates with no documents behind them.
Net Worth
There is no verified net worth for Ramtin Abdo. He has not published financial statements, and a private person’s wealth cannot be read from a company record. Figures you see online are guesses. If a page gives an exact number without proof, do not rely on it.
Age and Birth Date
Reports disagree. One gives 1975. Another gives July 17, 1976. A third described him as 46 in late 2023. Because these cannot be reconciled, no exact age is given here.
Does He Have Children?
One report says the couple had no children during their marriage. I could not confirm this from a major outlet, and nothing reliable describes his family life now.
Is He on Social Media?
Most descriptions say he avoids social media and public appearances. If you find an account claiming to be his, be cautious. Impersonation is common for people who are searched often.
Why So Many Pages Get Him Wrong
Three things cause the confusion:
- Very little is public. Writers fill the gap with guesses.
- Name variations. “Abdo,” “Abdolmajid,” and “Abdou” get confused with other people.
- Copied content. Many sites copy each other, so one mistake spreads quickly. The real picture is much narrower than viral biographies suggest.
How to Check Facts About Private People
- Prefer encyclopedias and major news outlets over blogs.
- Be suspicious of exact net worth figures.
- Check whether a page says where its information came from.
- Look for company registers when a business role is claimed.
- Remember that “reported” and “confirmed” mean different things.
