Accuracy is at the core of everything we publish on NTX Magazine. This page explains, in detail, how we research, verify, and source the information found in our articles — especially our biography content.
Why Sourcing Standards Matter
Biography and celebrity-adjacent content is particularly prone to misinformation online. Details get repeated from site to site without anyone checking the original source, and small errors can spread quickly. We built NTX Magazine to do things differently, and that starts with how we source our information.
Our Sourcing Process
Every article we publish goes through the following process before it goes live:
1. Identifying Public, Credible Sources
We rely on publicly available information from sources such as:
- Established news outlets and entertainment publications
- Official statements, press releases, and interviews
- Verified public records (where legally and publicly accessible)
- Verified social media accounts of the individuals covered, when relevant
- Previously published, well-sourced biography content that we independently verify
We do not rely on anonymous forums, unverified gossip pages, or single-source rumors as the basis for factual claims.
2. Cross-Referencing
Wherever possible, we confirm key facts — names, relationships, dates, career details — across at least two independent, credible sources before including them in an article. If we can only find a single source for a specific detail, we either note this in the article or leave the detail out if it cannot be reasonably corroborated.
3. Distinguishing Fact From Speculation
We are careful to separate confirmed information from claims that are widely reported but not officially confirmed. When a detail falls into the second category, we use clear language (such as “reportedly” or “according to public reports”) so readers understand the level of certainty behind the information.
4. Respecting Privacy
Even when writing about people connected to public figures, we do not publish private information such as home addresses, personal contact details, or information that could compromise someone’s safety or privacy. Our focus stays on publicly relevant and publicly reported details.
5. Ongoing Review
Biographical facts can change — relationships, careers, and life circumstances evolve. We periodically revisit older articles and update them when new, verified information becomes available.
What We Do When Information Is Limited
For some individuals, particularly private family members of public figures, publicly available information can be limited. In these cases, we are transparent about what is and isn’t known, rather than filling gaps with unverified claims or assumptions.
